Jewelry Care
Jewelry should always be treated with care and respect for the materials' natural tendencies. Periodic cleaning with very mild soapy water (lukewarm or cool) and polishing with a soft cloth will help keep your jewelry beautiful for years. Heavy wear, rough handling, chemical cleaning agents, chlorine, salt water or abrasives will negatively affect the appearance of all jewelry.
Pearls
Pearls should be put on last so as not to get makeup or hairspray on them. Remove pearls before bathing or swimming. Chemicals or minerals in the water may harm the pearls or deteriorate the cord they are strung with. After you have worn your pearls, wipe them gently with a soft clean cloth. Over time, the slight acid in your perspiration can have an abrasive affect them. Since most stones and metals are harder than pearls, storing your pearls together may scratch them. They should be kept in a cotton-lined box or pouch when not being worn. Don't store pearls in a sealed plastic bag. Pearls are organic and need to breathe. Long exposure in sealed bags, in direct heat or sunshine may dry, crack or discolor pearls. To clean, use warm water, liquid soap and a soft cloth. Dry with a soft cloth, and then lay necklaces or earrings flat to dry. Do not hang or wear them when wet. Wear them often to maintain their luster.
Silver
Sterling silver tarnishes and may be cleaned with a soft silver polishing cloth. Maintain its luster by periodically washing in warm soapy water and drying with a soft, clean cloth.
Gold
Aquanada uses 14-karat (14k) goldfill, which has a solid layer of 14k gold. 14kt goldfill will not tarnish the way sterling silver will. It may be cleaned with a soft silver polishing cloth. Maintain its luster by periodically washing in warm soapy water and drying with a soft, clean cloth.
Gemstones
The use of commercial cleaners on any gemstones is not recommended. Avoiding excessive exposure to the sun and heat will help to maintain the color and luster of gemstones.
Wood
Jewelry with wooden beads should be removed before bathing or swimming. Most wooden beads deteriorate when exposed to excessive heat, sun, chlorine and salt water. The use of commercial cleaners on any wooden beads is not recommended.
Shipping & Handling
Each piece of Aquanada jewelry is individually handcrafted to order. Please allow 10 to 12 business days for your order to be shipped. A shipping confirmation will be emailed to the customer. All items must be shipped to only one address per order.
Free Shipping
Free shipping is provided via USPS Priority Mail on orders of $150 or more, when shipped within the United States.

International Deliveries
We ship anywhere within the United States except Hawaii and Alaska. If you wish to ship to these two states or outside of the United States, please send an email to info@aquanada.com for more information.
Please note that we cannot ship to post office boxes.

Returns
Aquanada is committed to the highest level of artisanship, customer service and customer satisfaction. However, if for any reason you are unhappy with your purchase and would like to make a return, please refer to the following policy:
Aquanada accepts returns and exchanges on non-custom orders within 15 days of the customer's original receipt of the merchandise. The item must be returned to Aquanada in its original unused condition (including attached tags) via a major carrier with insurance. Returns that arrive after 15 days are subject to a 25% restocking fee. Refunds do not include shipping charges. Unfortunately, custom orders cannot be returned or exchanged. Please contact us for a return authorization number before you ship any package to us. Any unauthorized return will be refused. All sales are final after 30 days. Aquanada Jewelry is expertly handcrafted, with the slight variances expected in any handmade item. This adds an interesting, organic touch to your design. Remember that the slight imperfections resulting from the use of natural stones, pearls, vintage items and found objects enhance the beauty of our jewelry.
We will provide you with a full refund, less shipping charges, provided the returned goods are in salable condition. If the product is determined within seven days to have a manufacturer's defect, we will repair or replace at no cost. Although we check all merchandise for defects and damage prior to shipping, it is the buyer's responsibility to check the product upon arrival to make sure it is free of any defects. In the unlikely event an item is damaged during shipping or that there is a manufacturer's defect, please let us know immediately, and we will replace it free of charge. Please follow the standard return procedures, but take care to ship the merchandise back to us with the same packaging in which it arrived to you and a description of the damage.
Prior to shipping your return to us, please first obtain a return authorization (RA) number from us by sending an email to info@aquanada.com. We will send you an RA form via email or fax to be included inside your return package. This will help us expedite the return and credit process.
When returning your purchase, please package the merchandise in the same way it was packaged when shipped to you.
Returns shipped back after more than 30 days from receipt will not be credited. This will be measured by the ship date on the returned package.
Refunds will be processed within three business days after receipt of the returned merchandise. The same credit card with which you made the purchase will be credited (less shipping charges). Depending upon the card used, credits may take up to 30 days to appear on your statement.
